    3. Into the same or different cooking pot add in cooking oil heat it up, add in the onions and cook for them for 2 minutes.
    4. Add in the carrots and cook for 1 minute.
    5. Add in the red and green bell pepper and cook for 1 minute.
    6. Add in the spices and cook for 30 seconds. Adjust the amount and types of spices to your liking.
    7. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds then add in 1/8 of a cup of hot water to help in binding everything together.
    8. Add in the rice and mix it well, cook it for 2 - 3 minutes and reduce the flame from high to medium.
    9. Add in the cooked butternut squash and cook for 2 minutes.
    10. Stir in the chopped coriander and serve.
