    Instructions to make Badam Halwa:

    1. Soak the Badam in Hot Water for 30 mins.
    2. Peel off the skin and grind to a slightly coarse paste(like Rava), by adding the same water gradually which we have used to soak.
    3. Place a large kadai in the stove. Switch on the flame. The whole process should be done in medium low flame.
    4. Add milk. When it starts boiling, add saffron. Stir well for a minute till the milk changes to yellow colour. Then add badam paste. Stir continuously.
    5. After 2 mins, add sugar. Stir continuously till sugar dissolves.
    6. Then add 1/2 cup ghee. Stir well continuosly for 5 mins till the badam absorbs all the ghee.
    7. Again add 1/2 cup ghee. Stir continuously for 5 mins till all the ghee gets absorbed.
    8. Again add 1/2 cup ghee and salt. Stir continuously for 5 mins till the ghee gets absorbed.
    9. Atlast add the remaining ghee and stir continuously. Now the ghee starts seperating from badam or the halwa will not stick to the kadai. This is the perfect consistency.
    10. Garnish with some chopped Badam. Now it's ready to serve.
