Make ready 3-4 tablespoons cream
Get 2 teaspoons crushed kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
Take 2 tsp Chopped Corinder leaves to garnish
Take 250 gram paneer or Cheese
Instructions

Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan on medium flame
Add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves and saute for few seconds.
Add the the onion, garlic, ginger and saute for 2 to 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Add the tomatoes and cashews and mix it well
Add 1 cup of water. Cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes
After 10 min remove the Bayleaf cloves and cinnamon stick
Cool down a bit and then transfer to a blender. It’s important to let it cool down a bit else it will all blow up from the mixer.
Grind the masala to a smooth paste.
Take the same pan and add 2 tablespoons butter along with remaining 1 teaspoon oil on medium flame
Add the red chili powder and the Kashmiri red chili powder and saute for few seconds. This will give the gravy a nice light red color.
Add the paste, garam masala, cardommon powder Mix it well and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the cream and mix. And add crushed kasuri methi.
Add the paneer or Cheese and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Garnish Paneer Butter Masala with Coriander and serve hot with naan, chapati or rice!
