Make ready 2 tbsp fresh cream
Instructions
Steps to make Restaurant Style Dal Makhni:
Take a pressure cooker add 2 cups water to boil.
Now add half cup washed urad dal and soaked rajma pulses.
Add salt as per taste and haldi powder.
Let it cook for 2 whistle upon high flame and for 10 minutes on low flame.
After that prepare tadka for that.
In a pan add 2 tbsp desi ghee.
Then add cumin seeds,2 cardamons,2 cloves,1 bay leaf,heeng and mix well.
Then add chopped onion and fry them little golden brown in colour.
Now add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and add green chillies.
Cook them for 1 min.
Then add tomato puree and mix well with all ingredients.
Add salt as per taste,red chilli powder,Coriander powder and garam masala and mix well.
Now add cooked dal which we have prepared.
And mix with all ingredients.
Then add chopped coriander leaves and kasoori methi.
Mix well and cook for 2 mins.
Add butter and mix..
Now add fresh cream on low flame and stir quickly..
Cover it with a lid for 2 mins.
Then serve hot with some butter and fresh cream and enjoy with roti,naan or rice..
