    Instructions to make Jackfruit Curry (kathal):

    1. First grease our hands and knife.
    2. Cut the raw jackfruit. Then fry them and drain out on paper towel.
    3. Heat oil in a kadhai add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom fry them.
    4. Add asafoetida now add onion saute add garlic ginger chopped stir well.
    5. Add tomato paste saute for a minute add red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric and cream or curd stir to combine well.
    6. Add fried jackfruit.
    7. Add 1/2 cup of water cover the kadhai cook for 10minutes heat off.
    8. Serve with phulkas or jeera rice.
