    1. Make ready 5 gm wheat dough to make clay pot seal
    2. Prepare 250 gm Raw Jackfruit (kathal), cut into small pieces
    3. Make ready 5 Tbsp Cooking oil
    4. Get 5-6 Tbsp Desi Ghee
    5. Take 150 gm Basmati Rice
    6. Get 4 big onion
    7. Make ready 2 big tomatoes
    8. Take 3 green chillies
    9. Make ready 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    10. Make ready 2 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
    11. Get 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
    12. Prepare 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
    13. Get 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
    14. Take 2 black cardamoms
    15. Prepare 2 cloves
    16. Get 7-8 strands saffron soaked in milk

    Instructions

    Instructions to make Raw Jackfruit Biryani:

    1. Cut jackfruit into small pieces and fry until it becomes soft and golden brown. In the meantime soak Basmati Rice in water
    2. For jackfruit Sabzi: Add oil in Kadhai. Once it's becomes hot, add onion paste made of 2 onions and fry it until golden brown, after that add ginger garlic paste and fry until it's rawness is gone. Also add crushed green chillies along with ginger garlic paste. Add tomato puree and red chilli, coriander, Turmeric powder. Cook, until masala leaves oil from sides of Kadhai. Add jackfruit and some water to masala. at this time add Salt, Garam Masala and cook for 20-25 min until jackfruit is tender
    3. For Rice: Cook the soaked rice in 5-6 big cups of water. Put black cardmom and clove in water. Strain the water when rice is cooked 3/4th.
    4. Slice the remaining 2 onions and fry in 2 Tbsp of pure ghee until golden brown and crispy. Keep aside
    5. For assembling Biryani : Put 3 tbsp of ghee in the clay pot. Spread some rice over the ghee. And then add Jackfruit sabzi over rice, spread rice over sabzi.Spread 1/2 tbsp of ghee, some crispy fried onion over the rice. Repeat this until all sabzi and rice is over and min. 3 layers are made. At the end add saffron all over the top most layer of rice. Seal the lid of clay pot with some dough.
    6. Cook in low flame for 20-25 min. Open the lid and Serve hot with Mirchi ka salan or Raita.
