    Roast on low flame until lightly brown. Low flame is the key to good roasted nuts. Sweet Pongal is a traditional sweet dish which is a concoction of Milk, jaggery and rice. Strain the mixture in a sieve.


    Instructions

    1. Soak brown rice in water 30 mins
    2. After 30 min take the brown rice rinse them four times
    3. Take 2 cups of king tender coconut juice (red tender coconut) add into vessel with rice
    4. Put a vessel in the stove, the flame should be full, steam well 20 min
    5. Boil king tender coconut juice well
    6. When the juice starts boil., The flame should be sim
    7. Stir constantly, The brown rice take time to steam, after, 45 mins check if the rise is cooked
    8. The rice should be mushy
    9. After add 1 1/2 cup of jaggery to cooked rice,mix well
    10. Mix well, the jaggery dissolves well.
    11. Other side heat a pan ghee 3 spoon, cashews cardamom, dry grapes, splutter
    12. Saute little browny of the flame.
    13. Add roasted ingredients to cooked rice
    14. Mix well of the flame
