    Steps to make Chicken biryani:

    1. Heat oil saute cloves,bay leaf, Cardamom, cinnamon. Once you smell their aroma. Add onion and saute till it turns brown.Add ginger garlic paste.

    7. Let it cool on low flame for 5 mins.
    8. Now add water 800 ml
    9. Cover with lid for 5 mins on low flame.
    10. Once water starts boiling add soaked basmati rice.
    11. Cover with lid and place a weight over the lid. Cook for 5 mins on high flame. After 5 mins you can see fumes coming out from lid.
    12. Reduce the flame and cook for 15 mins.
    13. After 15 mins biryani is ready serve it with curd raitha.
