    7. Add cream salt and pepper to taste and cook stirring until thickened
    8. Remove skillet from heat and discard bay leaf
    9. Stir in cheese and keep sauce warm and covered
    10. In a pot of salted boiling water cook spaghetti until al dente
    11. Drain spaghetti well and in a large bowl toss with sauce
