    1. Take 1 cup Kaaju (125 grams)
    2. Prepare Half cup & 1 tbsp less sugar
    3. Get 5 tbsp water

    5. Prepare 2 tsp ghee

    7. Make ready As required Saffron strands (optional)

    1. Grind the kaaju/cashew nuts into a fine powder in a mixer grinder and the grinding process is as follows: Grind the kaiju's for 3 seconds, then pause, again grind for 3 secs. then pause. In this manner grind the remaining cashews.
    2. Now take a pan, add sugar & water. Then switch onn the gas and wait till the sugar gets melted. Now add few saffron strands into it. Now add the kaaju powder to it.
    3. Mix them well & cook it in a low flame for about 10 mins. Now add ghee, elaichi powder & cook it for 5 mins again untill the mixture gets accumulated in one place or the mixture starts sticking to the pan. Now take a plate, grease it with some ghee. Then pour the kaaju mixture over it, let it cool down a bit, then Knead it to make a smooth dough.
    4. Now take the dough on a plastic sheet or butter paper and try to roll it into a square kind of shape, keeping about half cm thickness. Now cut them into diamond shapes. Apply silver leaf if it's available.
